National Missing Children's Day Poster Contest

September 01, 2009

The US Dept of Justice sponsors this annual contest for  only 5th graders to develop artwork that will represent the goal of bringing missing children home safely.  The winner will travel to Washington, DC in May, 2010,  to receive an award and participate in the Missing Children's Day ceremony.  Teachers are encouraged to  incorporate the poster contest into their lesson plans.  For more information, contact Nadia Tunstall at 1-888-347-5610 ir 1-202-347-5610 or email mc.day2010@fvtc.edu.
