Are Set for North Dakota State Assessment

December 14, 2011

Bismarck, ND – The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction announces the adoption of state achievement standards for the North Dakota State Assessment in language arts.  Dr. Wayne G. Sanstead, State Superintendent, approved the adoption of the state achievement standards following a process that sought the input of state content specialists and national professional assessment specialists. These newly established state achievement standards mark the first time that student achievement levels will be reported out on the North Dakota language arts assessments.
