Superintendent Baesler Announces Effort to
Ensure Student Readiness to Enter College

February 7, 2013

Bismarck, ND – Kirsten Baesler, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, announced today the formation of two joint pilot projects designed for high school and higher education faculty to align math and English curriculum between the institutions to ensure incoming college students are properly prepared, and to reduce the need for remedial classes in college. The project is part of the three key initiatives she announced as part of her campaign last fall.
